Makinde to Receive Governor of the Year 2023 Award
Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, is set to receive the prestigious Leadership Governor of the Year 2023 Award on Tuesday. This honor, bestowed by the Leadership Newspaper, recognizes Governor Makinde’s remarkable contributions to extensive infrastructure development and commendable governance in Oyo State.
The Leadership Newspaper, in a visit by its management, applauded Governor Makinde for the substantial progress witnessed in Oyo State’s economic growth and outstanding achievements across diverse sectors. The governor, grateful for the acknowledgment, sees the award as a catalyst for his administration to redouble efforts in advancing the well-being of Oyo State residents.
The notice of the development was revealed to the media by the special adviser to the Governor on media, Mr. Sulaiman Olanrewaju today.
The award ceremony is scheduled to unfold at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, commencing at 10 a.m. Governor Makinde will personally attend the event to receive this esteemed accolade.
