Tourism Man of The Year: Makinde Congratulates Jubril Dotun Sanusi
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has congratulated all winners of the first Governor’s Dinner and Awards Night for tourism.
The ceremony of the International Tourism Summit tagged with the theme, Repositioning Tourism as a Driver of Sustainable Development in Oyo State 2024, was held on 17 and 18 April, at
the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, the state capital.
The state government
recognized 11 persons, groups, and organizations who are tourism stakeholders in Oyo state at an organised Dinner and Awards Night on Wednesday.
According to the governor’s post on his X handle, Makinde wrote, ” Congratulations to all winners of the first Governor’s Dinner and Awards Night for tourism at the International Tourism Summit Oyo State 2024. Last night, it was our pleasure to recognize 11 persons, groups, and organizations who are tourism stakeholders who continue to contribute to tourism development in our dear State. #ITSOyoState2024
Amongst the winners at the Governor’s Dinner and Awards Night, Ilaji Farms and Resorts owner, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi
Other awardees at the event include Erelu Funmi Rotiba, Chief Executive Officer Special Tours Ltd, Evangelist Ajibola Ogunkeyede CEO Ufit fly, Dr. Abebayo Faleke, a prominent radio presenter and researcher, Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye among others.
Governor Makinde while congratulating Jubril Dotun Sanusi and others, charged them to see the honor as a call for more work in making Oyo state a preferred tourism destination.
