2027: Group champions cause for Jubril Dotun Sanusi to accede to people’s demand to join guber race

A socio-political group, the Ibadan Peace and Solidarity Movement (IPSM), has thrown its weight behind calls for Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi to contest in the upcoming gubernatorial race in Oyo State.

The group, in a statement jointly issued on Wednesday by its Chairman, Akin Adeyinka, and Secretary, Kola Aderibigbe, respectively, highlighted Chief Sanusi’s exceptional track record as a philanthropist of note in Ibadan and his role as the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Resorts.

Known for his dedication to community development and welfare initiatives, Chief Sanusi has garnered immense support from various quarters in Ibadan and beyond.

Additionally, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi holds the esteemed title of Jagun Olubadan, further solidifying his deep-rooted connection to the city and its people.

IPSM emphasised that Chief Sanusi’s leadership qualities and commitment to service make him a formidable candidate for the gubernatorial race, aligning with the aspirations and demands of the populace.

The group, which it’s office address is situated at no 36, Gbadebo Street, Mokola Ibadan, urged Chief Sanusi to heed the call of the people and consider running for the gubernatorial position to bring about positive change and progress to the state.

“We believe that Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s dedication to philanthropy and community development, coupled with his leadership acumen, make him the ideal candidate to address the needs and aspirations of the people of Ibadan.”

“We urge him to consider joining the gubernatorial race to champion our collective vision for a better future,” Ibadan Peace and Solidarity Movement said.
