I have promised not to break the table nor shake it anymore. I’ll rather try to rearrange the table as best as I could. Thank you.
Our own home grown democracy is likened to a restaurant or an eatery. Some would go to buy snacks, some local foods, while some would have a feast. Whichever of the group you belong, table manners should be respected.
In the SDP and PDP (2003-2011) of old, in our Oyo state, you were either Adedibu or opposition. Late Chief Layi Balogun tried it and failed. Even Senator Rashidi Ladoja, though a sitting state governor with all the paraphernalia of powers, fell ‘yakata’ when Adedibu was dared.
In the present Rivers State, the political logjam is not between Nyensome Wike and Sim Fubara. Rather, it is Wike versus Atiku in Rivers State. You.might have read me severally ambushing Wike, I am only a respecter of rule of law. Talking of Rivers, my doubt if Fubara would laugh last. Neither Wike nor Atiku nor Fubara are the losers but, you, who failed to reconcile the two.
May I now come down to Oyo state.
It is openly and transparently visible to all that there is a cold war between Governor Seyi Makinde and the PDP Presidential Candidate in the last 2023 election, Turaki Atiku Abubakr. In Oyo state, the minority 10%, the Atikulates, are struggling with the majority 90%, the GSMites. I noticed that rather than some of us to pray fervently to reconcile the duo, the “arijenimadarus”, those who thrive in crisis, are pontificating: pointing accusing fingers at the Governor.
Whichever way it goes, neither Atiku nor Makinde would lose but YOU. The earlier you mend fences and stop your spoilers game, the better.
Take Note:
Seyi is to take over from Baba Seyi in 2027 in sha Allah. It is a Cosmic fatwa.
Ashipa remains my name.
