The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Atisbo Local Government Area recently benefitted from a special Christmas gesture, as Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi JP, popularly known as Wale Canada, presented cash gifts to the association’s leaders. The event, aimed at fostering goodwill and unity, took place at the First Baptist Church in Tede, Atisbo LG.
Hon. Wale Canada, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atisbo and Saki-East, was represented by his political aides: Mr. Jimoh O. Oladoja, Hon. Adeniyi Sarafadeen Yomi (Supervisory Councilor for Saki-East LG), and Prince Thomas Alao. The meeting was attended by representatives from various communities within Atisbo, alongside the local CAN chapter’s executive members.
The event served as an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the lawmaker and the Christian community in Atisbo, as well as to spread festive cheer ahead of Christmas. The cash gifts presented were part of Hon. Wale Canada’s ongoing efforts to promote unity and goodwill during the holiday season. In his message, the lawmaker’s representatives conveyed his commitment to supporting the community and ensuring continued collaboration with the Christian Association.
Ap J. Oyebisi James Oyewumi, Chairman of CAN Atisbo LG, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the members and beneficiaries, offering prayers for Hon. Wale’s longevity and the success of his leadership. Similarly, Rev. Tunde Kehinde, also expressed appreciation and prayed for Hon. Wale’s continued prosperity.
