Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi JP, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing the Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to His Royal Highness, Oba Surv. Khalid Olabisi, the Okere of Saki, following the death of his beloved wife, Olori Waliyat Olabisi.

In a statement issued through one of his aides, Mr. Jimoh O. Oladoja, Hon. Wale Canada, who also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Health, described the passing of Olori Olabisi as a great loss, leaving a void that will be hard to fill. He extended his deepest sympathy to the Okere, his family, and the entire people of Saki, recognizing the significant role Olori Waliyat Olabisi played in the community.

Hon. Wale emphasized that the loss of Olori Olabisi was not only a personal tragedy for the Okere but also a profound loss for the entire community. Her warmth, wisdom, and contributions to the development of Saki will be fondly remembered. “Her kindness and leadership within the community cannot be overstated. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,” he said.

The chairman also prayed for the repose of her soul and for divine strength and comfort for the Okere, his family, and all those whose lives she touched. “May Allah grant her eternal peace, and may He grant the Okere and his family the fortitude to bear this great loss,” Hon. Wale Canada concluded.

The passing of Olori Waliyat Olabisi has sent waves of sorrow throughout Saki and beyond, with many joining in mourning the loss of a beloved and respected figure.
