Alhaji Danjuma Reaffirms Support for NANTS Oyo State and Advocates for Progress

A recent publication by Independent Nigeria Platform titled “Count Me Out of NANTS Election – Danjuma” has caused confusion about the role of Alhaji Chief Tijani Jimoh Danjuma in the affairs of the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) in Oyo State. However, Danjuma has clarified his position, reaffirming his commitment to supporting the organization and the state’s trading community.

In a statement released personally by Alhaji Danjuma, he reiterated his unwavering financial and moral support for NANTS Oyo State and urged the public to disregard any false narratives aimed at discrediting his character and contributions.

While addressing the current challenges within the Oyo State chapter of NANTS, Alhaji Danjuma advised the association to elect an active and acting chairman without delay, emphasizing the importance of strong leadership for the continued growth of the association.

“Delay may be dangerous,” Danjuma stated, urging the South West coordinator and secretary of NANTS to take note. He recommended Chief Layi Olawoyin Theophilus as a suitable candidate for the position of Oyo State chairman, highlighting the need to preserve the rightful leadership opportunity of Oke-Ogun within the association.

Despite circumstances beyond his control that limit his direct involvement in NANTS activities, Alhaji Danjuma remains steadfast in his commitment to the organization and its members. His efforts to promote trade, empower traders, and contribute to economic growth in Oyo State have made him a pillar of support for the trading community.
