PHOTONEWS: Oriyomi Hamzat’s Bail Grant Sparks Joyful Solidarity Walk in Ibadan

Hundreds of supporters of Oriyomi Hamzat, took to the streets of Ibadan today to celebrate his bail grant. Hamzat, along with Queen Naomi, was released on bail yesterday at the Ibadan High Court.

The solidarity walk, which took place on Nyesom Wike Road, bashorun was a vibrant display of happiness and gratitude. Participants carried placards with messages such as “VICTORY AT LAST,” “ORIYOMI YOU ARE WELCOME BACK,” and “THANK GOD.” The atmosphere was filled with music as the supporters rendered several thanksgiving songs.

Hamzat’s detention at Agodi correctional service since December 24th had sparked widespread concern. His bail grant, however, has brought relief to his loved ones and supporters. The solidarity walk was a testament to the impact Hamzat has had on his community, and the appreciation they have for his contributions.

As the supporters celebrated Hamzat’s freedom, they also acknowledged the challenges he faced during his detention. The event served as a reminder of the importance of community and the power of collective support.
