Empowerment and Appreciation: A Message to Hon. Taiwo Salami
On behalf of the local government executive, wards, and stakeholders of PDP Ibadan North Local Government, I’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Taiwo Salami for his goodwill. We’re thankful for the presence of distinguished guests, including Hon. Chief Ashipa, Hon. Commissioner, Hon. Mrs. Toyin Balogun, Hon. Babajide Adebayo Gabriel,
Hon. Olufunke Comforter Olajide, among others.
We also appreciate the attendance of key figures like Hon. Seun Olufade, Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government; Hon. Fola Oyekunle, Deputy Chief of Staff; and Hon. Ademola Omotosho, among others. Your presence meant a lot to us.
The empowerment program, which provided 20,000 Naira to beneficiaries, may seem insignificant to some. However, considering the current economic climate in Nigeria, this amount can be a substantial starting point for small businesses or a welcome boost for existing ones.
The empowerment program initiated by Hon. Taiwo Salami is a testament to his commitment to the welfare of the people of Ibadan North Local Government. The program, which benefited 240 participants across the 12 wards, is a laudable initiative that demonstrates Hon. Salami’s dedication to empowering the grassroots.
The selection process, which identified 20 party faithful from each ward, ensures that the benefits of the program are spread evenly across the local government area.
