In a major political shift that is expected to have far-reaching effects on the political dynamics in Oluyole Local Government, Hon. This strategic move is likely to reshape the political framework of the area, setting the stage for a realignment of power.

Hon. Olusina, accompanied by the large number of the SDP members, met with the PDP Local Government Party Chairman, Hon. This event marked a significant milestone in the defection process, signalling the formal integration of the SDP members into the PDP fold. The political shift is expected to have considerable implications for the upcoming elections and could drastically alter the power dynamics within Oluyole Local Government.

The PDP Party Chairman, while he continues to acknowledge the good works of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, which he pronounced as the simple orchestration for the success of the efforts to win the SDP decampees, he said that PDP in Oyo State, being led by the indefatigable governor, will continue to be substance for growth and development of the citizens and a true reward for dividend of democracy. In his words, no other political party like PDP and no other leader as far as politics if concerned as of today’s Nigeria, than our amiable governor, His Excellency Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde. He said that the good work of the governor makes it an easy-win for Hon. Ogunsola John Olusina’s efforts, to canvass the members of the SDP into the People’s Democratic Party. He interrogated the SDP decampees and he promised to relate the development to the appropriate quarters, so that a day for their official induction into PDP will be communicated in due course. He appreciates the good efforts of Hon. Ogunsola John Olusina and his followers on the success of winning the SDP members into PDP.
