Oyo State’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, held a strategic session with key group of persons to discuss the upcoming Youth Summit. The summit aims to empower young people in the state by providing a platform for them to share their ideas, showcase their talents, and develop their skills.
The Youth Summit is part of the state government’s efforts to promote youth development and create opportunities for young people to thrive.
During the strategic session, the commissioner emphasized the importance of youth development and the need for stakeholders to work together to create opportunities for young people. She also outlined the plans for the summit, which will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops on various topics relevant to youth development.
The Oyo State Government has shown commitment to youth development through various initiatives, including the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which is dedicated to promoting youth empowerment and development. The government has also inaugurated a committee to organize the Youth Summit, which is expected to bring together young people from across the state.
Distinguished personalities, including Ambassador-Adeyemioba Ademoye Muyideen, Chief Wale Kareem, DIG Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekam Eldeez, and other notable personalities, such as Adelowo Michael Coded Creation, Ogunbowale Niyi, Ganiyu Kamaldeen, Comrade Simeon Ibekwe, O T Alphonso, Deji Ola, Bashorun Saintabey, Tella Oluyinka, Oba Stephen Adegboyega, and Abiodun Emmanuel Fadeyibi Alpacino, gathered to share their insights and pledge their commitment to ensuring the success of the Youth Summit.
