••••Threatens Legal Action Against Adeola Oloko’s Critics
The Mogaji of Oloko Compound, Alhaji Abass Oloko, has publicly declared his unwavering support for the re-election of Barrister Sulaimon Ajewole as the President of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), citing his leadership qualities and dedication to the advancement of Ibadanland.
Speaking on recent rumors circulating on social media, alleging impersonation against Adeola Oloko, Mogaji Abass Oloko strongly condemned the claims, describing them as baseless and malicious.
He affirmed that Adeola Oloko is a bonafide and well-respected indigene of Ibadan, whose reputation should not be tarnished by unfounded accusations.
He further issued a seven-day ultimatum to those behind the allegations to retract their statements and issue a public apology, warning that failure to do so would result in legal action.
“Adeola Oloko is a thoroughbred Ibadan son, and any attempt to undermine his identity and credibility will not be tolerated.
Those behind these falsehoods should either apologize or face the legal consequences of their actions,” he stated.
Mogaji Abass Oloko’s firm stance underscores his commitment to fairness, justice, and the protection of Ibadan indigenes from unwarranted attacks, as well as his support for Barrister Ajewole’s continued leadership of the CCII.
