The Oyo State 2027 Governorship hopeful, Hon Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-A.A popularly known as BASA extends her congratulations to the good people of Oyo and the entire Oyo Kingdom on the historic coronation of his imperial majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, Elewu Etu 1 as the new Alaafin of Oyo, which holds today, Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The ascension of Oba Owoade marks a new dawn in the rich heritage of Oyo, a venerated land known for its deep-rooted traditions, cultural pride, and enduring legacy. BASA expresses optimism that the reign of the new Alaafin will usher in an era of peace, progress, and prosperity for the sons and daughters of the ancient town, both at home and in the diaspora.
