Light-Up Project: Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru Morenikeji Commences Installation of Solar-Powered Streetlights in Kajola, Lagelu Local Government Area

In a continued effort to enhance the security and well-being of residents, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru Morenikeji, has initiated the installation of solar-powered streetlights in the Kajola community, located in Ward 5 of the local government area.

The streetlights were formally presented to the Kajola community by Hon. Idogbe Aduragbemi Emmanuel, the Councillor representing the ward, on behalf of the Chairman.

During the presentation, the Baale of Kajola, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman, commending him for complementing the developmental strides of Governor Seyi Makinde. He described Hon. Kamorudeen as a “talk-and-do” leader who consistently delivers on his promises to the community.

Hon. Mrs. Akinpelu Olufunke Funlab, President of the Kajola Landlords and Landladies Association, also lauded the Chairman for his timely intervention, emphasizing the importance of the initiative at this critical time. She assured that the community would continue to support his administration whenever the need arises.

Hon. Idogbe further praised Hon. Kamorudeen’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development, noting that the ongoing projects across the wards, including Ward 5, demonstrate the Chairman’s inclusive leadership style.

Meanwhile, several residents of Kajola expressed deep gratitude for being beneficiaries of the initiative. They noted that the solar-powered streetlights would significantly improve security and night time visibility in their community
