Managing Director and CEO of Royal Entertainment Cruise, Prince (Dr.) Sanmi Bamidele, has been honoured with the Oyo State Award for Service to Youth Development (Above 50 Years). The recognition was conferred by the Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The prestigious award was presented during the Oyo State Youth Summit 2025, an event organized under the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Wasilat Adefemi Adegoke.
Dr. Bamidele received the award with delight, acknowledging the state’s commitment to youth empowerment.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Bamidele praised the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his administration’s dedication to youth development and tourism advancement; the sector which contributed to his nomination and eventual selection.
As a gesture of gratitude, Dr. Bamidele announced he would sponsor a complimentary boat cruise for fellow award recipients, nominees, summit organizers, and especially Governor Makinde. The cruise is scheduled to take place on a date approved by the state government and ministry.
The award highlights Dr. Bamidele’s ongoing contributions to youth development and tourism in Oyo State, further solidifying his reputation as a visionary personality in the entertainment and hospitality industry.
