
The Aare Musulumi of Ekotedoland and member representing the good people of Ibadan Northwest State Constituency, Alhaji (Dr.) Dawood Akanni Olalere has joined countless faithful across Ibadanland, Yorubaland, and beyond in celebrating the birthday anniversary of the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, His Eminence Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere.

In a goodwill message personally issued by Aare Musulumi of Ekotedo, Alh. Akanni Olalere extolled the virtues of the revered Islamic leader, describing him as “a spiritual pillar, a beacon of moral integrity, and a symbol of divine wisdom whose leadership has profoundly impacted the religious and cultural life of our people.”

He noted that the Chief Imam’s lifelong devotion to the teachings of Islam, interfaith harmony, and community upliftment stands as a testament to his enduring legacy and leadership.
“On this special occasion, I salute a true father in faith whose life has been dedicated to service, enlightenment, and peace. Baba Imam, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, continues to lead with humility, knowledge, and a deep sense of divine duty,” Dr. Olalere stated.
He further emphasized his unwavering respect and support for the Imam’s mission, highlighting their shared commitment to the growth of Islam, the preservation of traditional values, and the development of institutions like the Agbotomokekere Central Mosque as spiritual heritage for generations to come.
