The Ona Ara Local Government and the entire Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family deeply mourn the passing of two respected and visionary leaders, Alhaji Rasaq (Baba Badeku) and Hon. Sali Abu.
In a statement released by the OTOPE Media Team on Monday June 9th, 2025, Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, affectionately known as OTOPE, extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the good people of Ona Ara, and all those impacted by this significant loss.
“These two exemplary men stood as pillars of unity, peace, and progress within our community,” Dr. Otope said. “Their selfless service, enduring legacies, and unwavering dedication to the development of Ona Ara will be remembered for generations to come.”
May Almighty Allah grant them Al-Janat Fridaus, and may their families and loved ones find strength, peace, and comfort in the cherished memories of their impactful lives.
Both Alhaji Rasaq (Baba Badeku) and Hon. Sali Abu died on Sunday 8th June, 2025 and were buried on Monday according to Islamic rites.
