The Seyi Makinde Disciples, a notable socio-political support group in Nigeria, has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to the First Lady of Oyo State, Engr. (Mrs) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, lauding her motherly role and unwavering support to Governor Seyi Makinde.

In a statement released on Monday by the group’s spokesman, Olusegun C. A. Taiwo OCAT, and signed by its convener, Laja Adeoye, the group commended Mrs. Makinde for her exemplary display of compassion, strength, and grace as both a mother to her children and a symbolic matriarch to the people of Oyo State.

“She has consistently supported His Excellency morally, politically, and prayerfully in the journey of governance and leadership,” the statement read. “Her presence and contributions behind the scenes are deeply felt and appreciated by all who love good governance and true leadership.”

The group emphasized her nurturing spirit, noting that her actions have extended beyond her immediate family to positively impact women, youths, and communities across the state. They described her as a “beacon of grace” whose dignity and quiet strength continue to inspire many.
As part of their goodwill message, the group offered prayers for long life, good health, and divine wisdom for the First Lady. “We pray she continues to thrive in good health and sound mind,” the statement added. “May God strengthen her as she prepares for the even greater national roles ahead. We believe, with hope and confidence, that she will soon assume the office of the First Lady of the Nation.”
