On this sacred day of Eid-l-Kabir, I send my warmest wishes to Muslims around the world, across Nigeria, and especially here in Oyo State. This celebration holds a special place in my heart because it brings to mind the power of unity and compassion in transforming our lives. I often think about how much stronger we become when we hold each other close when we share love and stand together through life’s challenges. It’s a simple truth that binds us — when we care for one another, we establish a foundation for a better life, not just for ourselves but for our entire community and nation.
Eid-l-Kabir prompts me to reflect on the pressing issues we face in Oyo State, Nigeria, and even globally—issues of development, harmony, and progress. I firmly believe that while our leaders must drive nation-building, the real change happens when we, as citizens, unite as one family, ready to roll up our sleeves and work for our neighbourhoods and state. This unity is the heartbeat of growth, the key to unlocking a future that allows everyone to thrive. I see this as a shared duty we must all embrace, and moments like today call us to consciousness and remind us of the love and solidarity needed to make it happen.
With this in mind, I joyfully wish every one of you a Happy Eid-l-Kabir.
