Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the recruitment of 181 staff for the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, disclosed this at the midterm scorecard presentation of the governor held at the assembly complex, Agodi, Ibadan, on Friday.
The Speaker, who noted that the occasion was to celebrate the second anniversary of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, said the recruitment exercise would be based on merit.
According to Ogundoyin, the recruitment exercise is ongoing and a thorough job would be done to ensure that only do best hands are employed.
The event was attended by members of the state executive council, legislature, judiciary, traditional rulers, political leaders, civil society groups, and other key stakeholders in the state.
