Hijrah 1447: Aare Musulumi, Alhaji D-Al-Ameen Urges Muslims to Keep Embracing Peace

As Muslims across the globe mark the beginning of the Islamic New Year, 1447 After Hijrah (A.H.), the Aare Musulumi of Ekotedoland, Alhaji (Hon.) Dr. Dawood Akanni Olalere D-Al-Ameen, has called on the Muslim Ummah to continue to uphold the tenets of peace, tolerance, and brotherhood that define the true essence of Islam.

In his New Year message, Alhaji D-Al-Ameen, who also serves as a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan NorthWest State Constituency, congratulated the Muslim faithful on witnessing the spiritual milestone and urged them to reflect on the significance of Hijrah: the Prophet Muhammad’s migration from Mecca to Medina as a journey of faith, patience, and peaceful transformation.

“As we begin the Islamic year 1447 A.H., it is important that we, as Muslims, rededicate ourselves to the values of peace and unity. Hijrah is not just a historical event, but a reminder that meaningful progress often requires sacrifice, mutual respect, and sincere devotion to a greater cause,” Alhaji D-Al-Ameen stated.

The Chief Consultant of the D-Al-Ameen Group of Medical Diagnosis Center, known for his commitment to both public service and community health advancement, emphasized the need for religious harmony in Nigeria’s multi-faith society. He urged Muslim leaders and scholars to use their platforms to promote peace-building and to discourage divisiveness in all forms.

“As lawmakers, leaders, and citizens, we have a duty to foster peaceful coexistence in our communities. Our religion commands us to be compassionate, just, and fair in our dealings with others, regardless of their beliefs. Let the spirit of Hijrah guide our actions in the days ahead,” he added.

Alhaji D-Al-Ameen concluded by praying for a prosperous and peaceful year for all Nigerians, expressing hope that 1447 A.H. would bring healing, growth, and divine mercy upon the nation.
