In the spirit of celebration and solidarity, members of Team TALSCO on Monday paid a courtesy and congratulatory visit to Honorable Taiwo Lekan Salami, following his recent appointment as the Chairman of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Board by Governor Seyi Makinde.
The atmosphere during the visit was filled with joy and heartfelt appreciation, as the team expressed their excitement over Hon. Salami’s latest achievement. In his response, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami began by giving thanks to God for life and the opportunity to serve in this new capacity. He also extended profound gratitude to Governor Makinde for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to justify the trust by revitalizing the 3SC brand and restoring the club’s former glory.
Hon. Salami further appreciated Team TALSCO for their unwavering support throughout the years, particularly during past political campaigns. He acknowledged their role in his political journey and described the visit as both symbolic and strategic.
He used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and declared his full support for the candidacy of Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) in the forthcoming Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election. He urged Team TALSCO to mobilize and campaign rigorously for Oyekunle’s victory, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective effort in strengthening the party’s presence.
