

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
Arapaja, in a birthday congratulatory statement he personally signed and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, he described De-Damak as a great philanthropist and humane personality whose love for the people and devotion to worthy causes are unrivaled and unequalled.
According to the statement; “today on the occasion of the birthday of the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola, I join millions of his well-wishers and the entire Muslim community to felicitate him on this joyous and momentous occasion.

“The Aare, fondly called De-Damak, is a worthy leader, philanthropist and humane personality, whose love for the people is unrivalled.

The Celebrant is such a precious gift, whose contributions to the growth of Islamic religion and humanity are indelible.

Aare Musulumi’s contributions are not only to the growth of Islam, but also to that of the entire Yorubaland and beyond especially through his philanthropic gestures and peace building efforts which have earned him great admiration among men.
His selfless life has continued to serve as a lesson to all, that indeed, our living legends deserve to be celebrated in their lifetime.
Therefore, on behalf of my family, my party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the entire South, I heartily wish Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), happy birthday, and pray Almighty Allah to grant him long life in good health and continuing wealth, so he will continue to be a blessing to humanity like he presently is.” Arapaja prayed to God.
