I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his well-deserved emergence as the new National Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). This moment fills me with joy as I rejoice with you, witnessing the overwhelming and general acceptance that paved the way for your leadership. This broad support is a clear sign of the trust the party places in you, a trusted man whose commitment to the growth and stability of the APC has been evident through your years of service. Your rise to this position is a celebration of your dedication, and I am proud to stand with you as we move forward together.
This consensus and acceptance, achieved without rejection, speak volumes about your character and integrity. Such unity across the party, irrespective of who is involved, could not have happened if there were questionable acts or doubts about your loyalty and capacity. Your track record is loud and inspiring, from your exemplary service as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to your earlier roles, including your tenure as a Resident Electoral Commissioner with INEC, where you brought innovation and fairness to our electoral process. You have been entrusted with leading the greatest political party in Africa, the APC, a powerhouse that has consistently excelled in elections and delivered President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose remarkable record in office continues to steer Nigeria toward progress. Under President Tinubu’s quality leadership, both the nation and our party have seen bold initiatives and stability, and I thank His Excellency, Mr. President sincerely, for his guidance. Your role now builds on this foundation – it carries the responsibility of sustaining our electoral successes and expanding our influence. The APC’s strength lies in leaders like you, and your appointment reaffirms our commitment to this excellence.
