The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele,in a viral video has issued a fresh prophetic warning to the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, over his recent political move and choice of campaign slogan.
In a statement released on Saturday, Primate Ayodele cautioned Adelabu against adopting the slogan “Emilokan”, describing it as a wrong pronouncement that could spell political failure for him.
According to the cleric, the slogan—popularized during previous political campaigns in the South-West—represents an outdated and spiritually unfit declaration that would work against Adelabu’s ambition to govern Oyo State.
“Again, Bayo Adelabu has made another mistake by using the slogan ‘Emilokan’. The slogan is a past statement which means Adelabu has failed. Whoever told him to use that statement has advised him wrongly,” Ayodele declared.
He further warned that unless Adelabu changes course, his bid to become the next governor of Oyo State would end in disappointment.
“With the word Emilokan, you have missed that seat of governor of Oyo State. The old arcade statement of Emilokan will make you fail. It’s either you adjust now or fail as usual,” Primate Ayodele stated.
The cleric also referenced a past conversation with the minister, saying,
“I remember you told me not to talk again; please sue me as you promised. Take it or leave it, you can’t become the governor of Oyo State.”
Primate Ayodele is well-known for his bold prophecies on political events across Nigeria, many of which have generated wide public debate.
