Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan once again displayed courage, determination, and the true spirit of the Oluyole Warriors as they battled to a hard-fought 1–1 draw against Katsina United in front of a passionate home crowd at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
Despite conceding an early goal in the 6th minute, 3SC refused to be rattled. The team showed great composure and fighting spirit, pressing high and dictating the tempo of the game. Their resilience paid off just nine minutes later when the Oluyole Warriors found the equalizer in the 15th minute, igniting loud cheers from the thousands of home supporters who thronged the stadium.
From that moment, Shooting Stars completely took control of proceedings, creating numerous scoring chances and putting the visitors under constant pressure. The players combined beautifully, showing class and teamwork that kept the fans on their feet throughout the encounter.

Although the much-deserved winning goal didn’t come despite relentless efforts up until the 98th minute, the team’s commitment and attacking display drew praise from supporters and football lovers alike.

It was a show of character, passion, and progress — a clear sign that the Oluyole Warriors remain a force to reckon with in the NPFL.

Heads held high, 3SC march on with pride and confidence.
