The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently facing the consequences of what he described as “nemesis” fighting his government — a situation he claimed to have foretold in 2023.
Primate Ayodele, in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, linked the ongoing controversy surrounding US President Donald Trump’s threat against Nigeria to what he called divine retribution against Tinubu’s administration.
Primate Ayodele stated that the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria, which has drawn the attention of the US government, is “spiritually connected” to Tinubu’s leadership challenges.
“Tinubu is reaping what he sowed. Anyone can say anything; the genocide is to fight Tinubu’s government. We have said before that the government will experience problems.
“In 2023, I said if Tinubu wins, nemesis will fight his government. If he doesn’t remove the problem of nemesis, America will definitely attack his government,” the cleric said.
He further claimed that America’s move to intervene in Nigeria’s alleged Christian persecution crisis is part of a wider strategy to “penetrate and weaken” Tinubu’s government.
“America’s plan to fight terrorism is a means to penetrate Tinubu’s government and weaken his second term. Tinubu must work to remove this. Nobody should pity him. He is doing well, but nemesis is fighting him. He needs to find a divine solution to this nemesis, it’s not by technology,” he added.
The prophet also alleged that American soldiers are already present in Nigeria, urging the government to act swiftly to avert potential escalation.
“America is already in Nigeria; this government should do something different quickly,” he warned.
Primate Ayodele, known for his political prophecies, maintained that the Tinubu administration must urgently seek “divine intervention” if it hopes to overcome the looming crisis.
