New Year: PDP National Secretary, Arapaja Congratulates Nigerians, Commends Their Resilience Under APC Bad Administration
The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of the new year 2026.
In a congratulatory statement issued on behalf of Ambassador Arapaja by his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim Arapaja urged them to be grateful to the Almighty for sparing their lives to witness the new year in spite of the harrowing experiences of the outgone Year 2025,

Arapaja said that it is no news that the Nigerian masses witnessed untold bloodletting, kidnapping and excruciating economic hardship brought on them by the insensitive APC led government.
Arapaja commended Nigerians for their resilience and an unshaken resolve to stand by one another in the face of total failure of governance under the APC government.

According to him, “there is hardly a family in Nigeria, under President Tinubu’s watch, which does not bear the deep gash of security or economic tragedy brought by the APC.
It is imperative to state that under the APC administration, governance became a tool of suppression. Human right abuses became the new normal. Nigerians youths who tried to raise the consciousness of government to the suffering in the land were viciously subdued,
The aforementioned callous experiences notwithstanding, our party, PDP holds that as we march into the New Year, there must be a change of narrative for our dear nation.
I therefore call on Nigerians, having become fed up with the APC led administration, to strengthen their bond of unity in our collectively patriotic resolve to recue our nation from the stranglehold of misrule.” He said.
While praying for the nation to witness economic stability, end up insecurity, wanton destruction and religious intolerance, Arapaja urged all hands to be on the deck to ensure a happy and more prosperous year 2026.
