EUPHORIA, AS BASA LAUNCHES LIFTING WOMEN INITIATIVE ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY.
Hon Bolanle Aminat Sarumi popularly known as BASA, through her BASA Foundation, on the commemoration of the International Women’s Day, is proud to announce the launch of the Lifting Women Initiative—a transformative movement aimed at empowering women and lifting them up from social deprivation and extreme poverty.
In a release by her media aide, Comrade ‘ Seye Akanmu-Bode , the “ Lifting Women Initiative is a call to action for all individuals, organizations, and communities to join hands with us in supporting and uplifting women in need.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower women economically, socially, and financially, providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive and succeed.”“Far too many women around the world are trapped in cycles of poverty, facing insurmountable barriers to education, employment, and opportunity. But we believe that by working together, we can break these cycles and create a more just and equitable world for all.
”“Through the Lifting Women Initiative, we aim to provide women with access to education, training, and resources to help them build sustainable livelihoods and achieve financial independence. We will also offer social support and mentorship programs to empower women to overcome obstacles and fulfil their potential.”“ But we cannot do this alone.
