The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has expressed the appreciation of the Arapaja family to the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin for installing Alhaji Nureni Solagbade Oladejo Arapaja as the new Mogaji of Arapaja family of Kudeti in the Ibadan South East local government area.
Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja’s appreciation message was contained in the statement he issued and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim.
According to the statement, “we return all glory to Almighty God for a successful installation ceremony of Alhaji Nureni Oladejo Arapaja as the Mogaji of Arapaja family, Kudeti by His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin. We extend our utmost appreciation to the Olubadan-in- Council for their kind consideration and approval and the entire Arapaja family for coming in unison for the nomination of a consensus candidate in line with the ideal and value of family headship in Ibadan land.”
Arapaja who congratulated the new Mogaji, Alhaji Nureni Oladejo on this well deserved call to service, urged him to remember that he remains duty bound to fulfill all expectations as the representative of the entire Arapaja dynasty in the traditional institution of Ibadan land.
He prayed for continuous unity of the Arapaja family and good health, long life and financial growth and prosperity for the Mogaji in the task ahead of him.
