PDP Zonal Congress: Arapaja Congratulates Makinde, Party On Successful Congress

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the leaders and stakeholders of the PDP for the successful conclusion of the Southwest Zonal Congress held today at the Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, opposite UCH, Ibadan.

In a release signed by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim he said, “I rejoice with Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe who was returned as the South-West Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Alhaja Chief Modinat Abosede Adedibu who was returned as the South West Zonal Women Leader and also congratulate all the elected officers of our party at the election.

“As we all step forward in high hope and renewed rigour to reform our party, I wish you all the best and thank our frontline leaders Gov Seyi Makinde who hosted the congress, and his counterpart from Osun State, Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke, Chief Bode George and other leaders of the party from the south west that were on ground.

Arapaja who noted that with the peaceful and successful conduct of the congresses, PDP members have truly proved to the world that the processes to move the party forward towards recording victory in the 2027 general elections has commenced.

He charged the new zonal executives to be committed to whatever that will benefit Nigerians as they await the party to rescue power from the ruling APC.
