OYHA Member, Wale Canada Celebrates Oyo Youth Commissioner Hon. Wasilat Adekoge on Her Birthday

A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. (Alhaja) Wasilat Adekoge, on the occasion of her birthday.

Hon. Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada and currently serving as Chairman of the House Committee on Health, lauded the commissioner’s dynamic leadership and dedication to youth empowerment and sports development in the state. He commended her recent return from the Holy Land, describing it as a spiritually enriching milestone that coincides beautifully with her personal celebration.

Describing Hon. Adekoge as a visionary and progressive-minded person, Wale Canada praised her impactful contributions toward transforming the youth and sports sector in Oyo State. He noted that under her stewardship, various youth-focused initiatives and sporting activities have witnessed significant growth, fostering talent development and social inclusion.

“Having someone like Hon. (Alhaja) Wasilat Adekoge in the Oyo State Executive Council is not only timely but invaluable,” he remarked. “Her commitment to youth engagement and grassroots sports revival is commendable and deserves greater recognition.”

The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, for identifying and appointing individuals of competence and integrity like Hon. Adekoge to serve in his administration.

Hon. Gbadamosi concluded his message with prayers for long life, good health, and continued success for the commissioner as she continues her journey in public service.
