The Director-General of the Oyo State Liaison Office (Abuja and Lagos), Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, fondly known as OTOPE, has congratulated Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, the trailblazing first female Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, on her appointment as Member of the 2025 Elective National Convention Zoning Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In his congratulatory message, OTOPE described Senator Sunmonu’s appointment as “a well-deserved recognition of her wealth of experience, political sagacity, and unwavering commitment to inclusive leadership.” He added that her role in the committee is a testament to her enduring relevance and influence in Nigerian politics.
Senator Monsurat Sunmonu was among the distinguished party leaders inaugurated by the PDP National Leadership on Thursday afternoon in Abuja, ahead of the party’s much-anticipated National Convention.
OTOPE expressed confidence that her contribution to the committee’s work will not only project Oyo State positively but also strengthen the unity, fairness, and strategic direction of the PDP at the national level.
