Arapaja Felicitates Olubadan-Designate, Commends Makinde and Olubadan-in-Council for Smooth Transition

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated the Olubadan designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his confirmation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a congratulatory statement personally issued by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja but made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, Arapaja described Oba Ladoja’s ascension to the throne of his forebears as a divine arrangement.

Arapaja noted that Ladoja enjoys a rare grace as the first Olubadan to have attained the throne having served as a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a former governor of Oyo State.

He equally extended his congratulatory statement to Governor Seyi Makinde and other members of the Olubadan-in-Council for their roles in ensuring a seamless transition, after the demise of the 43rd Olubadan, late Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.

Arapaja hinted that he is optimistic that Oba Ladoja’s reign will undoubtedly continue to bring peace, unity, and accelerated development to Ibadan city.

He prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for the monarch, and wished him a successful and fulfilling reign.
