The International School Ibadan Alumni Association, Ibadan Chapter was on ground to witness the valedictory service of the 2024/2025 graduating students.
The star studded event was witnessed by the Deputy Vice-chancellor (Academic) & Chairman I.S.I Board of Governors Prof Juwon Tunde Aritoba, Dr. Oluwarotimi Enitan Idowu, Member on the board of council B.O.G, Prof O.O. Oyebola, PTA Chairman, Prof Aina Adeogun, Member on the board of council B.O.G, Mr Yinka Akintunde, Principal (The International School Ibadan), Mr Adigun S.M Vice-Principal(Senior), Mr Abiola Ijaduola Vice-Principal(Junior School), His Royal Majesty Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, The Oore of Otun-Ekiti (EX ISI), members of staff, parents and well wishers.
Leading the delegation of the Ex ISIAA, Ibadan Chapter was Babatunde Aiku S.A.N, Omotola Olabisi Olugbodi (Esq), Mr Koyinsola Owoeye (H.O.D) Computer Science Dept, LeadCity University and Hon Bayo Adekunle popularly known as 30-30.
The Boards Chairmans address was very direct ‘ In his words’ we know that behind every successful student is a network of devotion, dedication and hardwork. Many of you would not be here today without the quiet strength of family. The gentle encouragement, the sacrifices, the prayers whispered in hallways and the consistent belief in your abilities, these threads are woven into todays celebration. We strongly believe in you, not just because of what you’ve done, but because of who you’re becoming. Congratulations, Class of 2025. Step boldly, Shine brightly, Live purposefully!
Following was the principal’s address stating ” ISI Army of academic battle, can you now see how your hard work has paved the way for you? Your groans are over Mr. Aremu’s spelling exercises, or Mr Adewole’s X + Y assignments that once seemed insurmountable, the assembly grounds speeches that called you to morals, each one was sharpening your minds and building your strength. Now that phase has been completed and have done so as heroes. CONGRATULATIONS!
Babatunde Aiku S.A.N in his words “It is with Immense gratitude to God Almighty, the Alpha & Omega of all things and profound joy of heart that I address you today not as a guest but as an EX ISI & and the pro-tem lead of the ISIAA, Ibadan Chapter. This success however is not yours alone. It is tge fruit of the collaborative effort, synergy of dedication and commitment from all stakeholders, however from now on we induct you all henceforth to the Ex ISIAA and hereby pick up your lapel pins as our unifying symbol and identity of our great school. Go into the world and conquer….
The Oore of Otun-Ekiti also prayed fervently for the graduating student’s ” The Almighty God will direct your steps and make you whole, the skill and tool that you will need to continue to excel will never depart from you, the 2025 valedictorians will never be found wanting….. Kabiyesi was very pleased and happy giving cash gifts to the best graduating students (Male & Female)
The event was however very colourful with entertainment from the student’s from the choir performance to the Yoruba dance, Boys & Girls brigade..
