

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of this year 65 years Independence celebration.
In a statement issued by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary Celebration, he urged Nigerians to maintain dogged perseverance and keep faith in the country.
While congratulating the government at all levels for the epoch making day, Arapaja specifically commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for proving that good governance still exists in the country.

Arapaja used the occasion to express profound appreciation to the people of the southern part of the country for their faith and unalloyed support for the PDP.

He equally commended the uncommon show of resilience of Nigerians in the face of bad governance, insecurity and poverty being experienced under the current APC led administration, urging them to continue to persevere till 2027 when they will have the opportunity to bring PDP back to government with their votes.

He wished Nigerians many years of celebration of the independence anniversary.
