As Oyo State approaches another critical election, it is imperative that we prioritize leadership that can drive economic growth, create jobs, and improve the overall well-being of our citizens. In this regard, I strongly believe that our state needs a technocrat who has a proven track record of creating job opportunities, embodies cultural sophistication, and is connected to grassroots.
A leader who has successfully built a business that feeds thousands of people, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth, is better equipped to replicate this success at the helm of our state’s affairs. Such an individual has demonstrated their ability to create opportunities, empower others, and drive development. They possess the expertise to identify and address the state’s economic challenges, and to develop innovative solutions to drive growth and prosperity. Moreover, a leader who embodies cultural sophistication and is connected to grassroots can bring a sense of refinement, inclusivity, and vision to governance, ensuring that our state’s rich cultural heritage is preserved and celebrated.

We need a leader who has walked the talk, who has created jobs and opportunities, and who is steeped in the cultural values of our people. This is the kind of leader who understands the needs of the people, who knows how to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, and who can inspire and empower our people to take charge of their own economic destiny.

Oyo State is blessed with an abundance of human capital and natural resources, but we need a leader who can harness these assets to create a thriving economy. A technocrat who has a track record of creating job opportunities, embodies cultural sophistication, and is connected to grassroots can bring a fresh perspective, innovative ideas, and a results-driven approach to governance. They can leverage their business acumen to attract investments, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth, thereby improving the lives of our people.

Furthermore, such a leader can also focus on developing infrastructure, improving education and healthcare, and promoting agriculture and tourism, which are key sectors that can drive economic growth and development in Oyo State. They can also work to create a business-friendly environment, reduce corruption, and increase transparency and accountability in governance.
Let us prioritize leadership that has a track record of delivery. Let us choose a leader who has demonstrated the ability to create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and improve the lives of others. Oyo State deserves a leader who can put the state forward, and I believe that a technocrat who has a track record of creating job opportunities, embodies cultural sophistication, and is connected to grassroots is the right person for the job.
