Ona-Ara Local Government was agog today, Saturday, November 8, 2025, as the OTOPE Political Movement, under the leadership of Hon. Dr. Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), held its November General Meeting at Elekuro High School, Owode, off Amuloko–Akanran Road, Ibadan.

The well-attended meeting brought together community leaders, youth groups, artisans, and various professional associations across Ona-Ara who have joined forces with the OTOPE Political Movement in recognition of Dr. OTOPE’s impactful community development initiatives.
The gathering, described as insightful, strategic, and community-driven, focused on grassroots mobilisation, unity within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and sustaining empowerment-driven programmes that continue to uplift residents of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.
