Ibadan — Mogaji Honorable Olajide Olatoye was among dignitaries present at the commissioning of the newly constructed Lagelu Local Government Legislative Building, an event that marked a major milestone in the development of the council area.
The commissioning ceremony attracted a large turnout of sons and daughters of Lagelu Local Government, creating an atmosphere described as lively, colourful and full of excitement. The modern legislative complex was officially commissioned by Hon. Bimbo Adekanbi, former Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State.
While touring the facility, Mogaji Hon. Olajide Olatoye praised the effort and vision of the Lagelu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, describing the building as standard, beautiful and world-class. He noted that the edifice reflects the commitment of the current administration to institutional development and good governance at the grassroots level.
Mogaji Hon. Olatoye also congratulated the councillors and legislative arm of the local government on the completion of the project, expressing optimism that the new building would provide a conducive environment for effective lawmaking.
According to him, the state-of-the-art facility will enhance the capacity of the legislators to discharge their duties efficiently and to initiate and pass pro-people bills and laws that will further drive development across Lagelu Local Government Area.
