Atikulated Global Movement (AGM) Congratulates H.E. Chief (Barr.) Alfred Agboola Ajayi, Commends Ondo PDP and Election Committee
The Atikulated Global Movement (AGM) extends heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Barr. Alfred Agboola Ajayi, on his emergence as the PDP Candidate for the Governorship election in Ondo State. The party primaries, held at the Dome Events Centre in Akure, Ondo State on April 25, 2024, were keenly contested. AGM, a formidable support group of aspirants and candidates under the umbrella of the PDP in the 2023 elections that worked towards the realization of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s presidency, also commends the Ondo State PDP for a successful primary, described as flawless and one of the best ever organized in the country.
In a statement released by Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi (BASA), National Chairperson of AGM, through her media aide, Comrade Seye Akanmu-Bode, she praised H.E. Agboola Ajayi, former deputy governor in Ondo State, for his spirited campaign and wished him success in the forthcoming general election scheduled for November 16, 2024. BASA reiterated AGM’s unwavering support for Ajayi’s gubernatorial aspirations, pledging full backing from the national level.
Furthermore, BASA commended all aspirants who participated in the primaries, applauding their sportsmanship in accepting the outcome graciously. She encouraged H.E. Ajayi to integrate them into his team, fostering unity for a formidable front in the upcoming election.
BASA also expressed gratitude to the AGM Ondo State, led by the indefatigable Hon. Lovelyn Yemi-Ese, and other committed members like Hon. Bamidele Olubunmi Ayodele (BOA), for their support and robust participation in the entire exercise which eventually produced H.E. Alfred Agboola Ajayi. She encouraged them not to rest on their oars yet, as work has just begun towards reclaiming the government in Ondo State by the most organized and largest political party in Africa, the PDP.
Hon. Bolanle Sarumi commended the PDP Ondo State Guber primaries Committee headed by His Excellency, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, deputy governor, Bayelsa State. She equally pledged, as it’s the political culture of the AGM, to work with the PDP, its candidates, and all stakeholders in the federation. Ondo State won’t be different in the coming days, as AGM will deploy all resources in its capacity to ensure that the PDP’s vision of taking over the government of Ondo State is realized.
