The family of late Afro-pop singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has revealed that they have conducted a second autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
This comes as controversy continues to surround the circumstances of his passing.
According to Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, “The second autopsy was requested by the family and ordered by the Magistrate of the Coroner Court, Ms. T.A. Shotobi.
“The procedure was witnessed by a forensic pathologist appointed by the family, their legal representatives, and Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi Aloba, who was represented by her own legal team.
“The autopsy is a two-part process, with the first part now completed. If the cause of death cannot be determined from the initial examination, the second part will proceed, involving toxicology and histology tests on the necessary samples.
This development comes after the court granted an order on June 26, 2024, allowing Mr. Aloba to engage a certified pathologist for an independent autopsy on his late son.
