FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BOYE NATION REAFFIRMS UNFLINCHING COMMITMENT TO APM, DISMISSES APC DEFECTION RUMOURS AS BASELESS FALLACY.
The leadership of the Boye Nation Movement wishes to address and categorically debunk the malicious rumours making the rounds on social media and certain political quarters suggesting that our leader, Hon. Ajiboye Akande Sangogade (popularly known as Boye Nation), has defected or plans to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
We wish to state unequivocally that Hon. Ajiboye Akande Sangogade remains a bonafide, committed, and loyal member of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
He has absolutely no intention, whatsoever, of returning to the APC.
For the avoidance of doubt, the recent meeting between Hon. Sangogade and Barr. Seyi Tinubu, the son of Mr. President, was purely a social interaction rooted in long-standing personal friendship. Hon. Sangogade and Barr. Seyi Tinubu have been close personal friends for years. Honouring an invitation from a personal friend does not, in any way, translate to political alignment or decamping to the APC.
We hereby urge the good people of Oyo State, party faithful, and our teeming supporters across the nation to completely disregard these spreading rumours. They are nothing but a groundless fallacy engineered by mischief-makers to cause unnecessary distractions.
Hon. Ajiboye Akande Sangogade is entirely focused on the growth, consolidation, and ultimate victory of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and all its candidates in the upcoming elections.
APM remains the party for the people, and we stand resolute.
Signed:
Amb. Omiyale Ademola
Spokesperson, Boye Nation Movement
