The Oyo State Amalgamation of All Traders and Artisans (OYSATA) has reaffirmed that its planned mega endorsement programme on 22nd October 2026 at House of Chief and Western Hall, House of Assembly Complex Agodi Secretariat Ibadan is an all-inclusive initiative open to traders and artisans across the state. The programme is aimed at expressing support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential bid, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi’s governorship bid, as well as other candidates of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in Oyo State.
According to the organisers, the initiative is being powered by Otunba Seye Famojuro and coordinated through OYSATA by Hon. Taiwo Ige. The organisers described the programme as a platform designed to bring together various traders’ and artisans’ associations under one umbrella, while providing an avenue for participants to publicly declare their support for the candidates.
The organisers stressed that the programme is open to all interested groups willing to participate. They urged associations to join the initiative and be part of what they described as a broad-based mobilisation of traders and artisans across Oyo State.
The organisers further appealed to leaders and members of various associations to take advantage of the opportunity to participate, reiterating that the programme is not restricted to any particular traders’ or artisans’ group. They said the objective is to achieve broad participation and ensure that interested associations have a place in the mega endorsement programme.
