No Job, No Empowerment, No Project – Oyo South Residents Vow to Recall Oyo APC Guber Candidate Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli from Senate , Says He Is a Failed Senator

Tension is brewing in Oyo South Senatorial District as residents, youth groups, market women, artisans and community leaders have risen in one voice to pass a vote of no confidence on Senator Sharafadeen Alli , describing his representation since 2023 as a total failure.
The aggrieved residents who cried out in Ibadan on Friday said the Senator who is now parading himself as the Oyo APC Gubernatorial Candidate for 2027 has abandoned his constituency and has not delivered any tangible dividend of democracy.
According to them, since Senator Sharafadeen Alli was elected to the Senate in 2023, there has been no job facilitation for the teeming youths, no meaningful empowerment program, and no visible constituency project across the seven local government areas that make up Oyo South.
“No job for our youth, no empowerment for our women, no project in our communities. What kind of Senator is that?” Comrade Joel Ajao one of the aggrieved youth leaders queried.
“For over two years in the Senate, Oyo South has not felt any impact. He is a failed Senator, and he will be a failed Governor if given the chance. We cannot afford to make that mistake in 2027,” Mrs Tolu Abel another resident stated.
The residents disclosed that they have commenced consultations to invoke the constitutional process to recall Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun ALLI from the Senate, insisting that he has not done any good thing for his constituency.
They vowed that if the Senator cannot give account of his stewardship as a Senator, he has no moral justification to seek to govern Oyo State.
“We will recall him from the Senate. Oyo South deserves better. We need a Senator who will attract projects, empower our youth and create opportunities, not one who only shows up during election period,”the coalition of residents declared.
