The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Dawood Akanni Olalere, popularly known as D-Al-Ameen, has declared that the party is fully prepared to contest and win the 2027 elections in Oyo State.
Olalere stated this through his Sorosoke Media Team while receiving the ADC governorship candidate in the state, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, during a thank-you tour of the Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency.
The visit formed part of Adegoke’s tour of the 14 federal constituencies in Oyo State to appreciate party members, leaders, stakeholders and supporters for their contributions and support during the ADC governorship primary that produced him as the party’s candidate.
The tour attracted party members, residents and community stakeholders who gathered at various points along the routes to receive the ADC governorship candidate and members of his campaign team.
Olalere accompanied Adegoke and Team SOLUTIONS throughout the tour, which included visits to ADC party secretariats in Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Local Government Areas.
The campaign train passed through several communities and major routes, including Ado, J-Allen, Aleshinloye, Jericho, Eleyele, Sango, Mokola, Adamasingba, Oke-Padre, Oloosaoko, Oopoyeosa, Idikan, Ayeye, Oritamerin, Idi-Arere, Molete, Challenge, Orita-Challenge, Kuola, Apata, Odo-Ona and Mobile.
The areas witnessed gatherings of ADC stakeholders, party faithful and residents who interacted with the visiting governorship candidate and other party leaders.
The tour later culminated at Jogor Centre, where the ADC candidates and party leaders held further interactions with members of the party, community representatives and residents.
The gathering also witnessed the reception of members of the Hausa community and members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Speaking at the event, Adegoke highlighted some of his vision and plans for Oyo State, saying a comprehensive manifesto would be unveiled as the campaign officially gathers momentum.
He said the party would continue to engage the people on its plans and programmes for the state.
Olalere, alongside the ADC candidates for the Oyo State House of Assembly seats representing Ibadan North-West, Ibadan South-West I and Ibadan South-West II constituencies, assured constituents of effective representation and quality project delivery if elected.
The event was attended by ADC state executives, party leaders, elders and stakeholders, members of various campaign councils and ADC House of Assembly candidates from across the state, among others.
The thank-you tour is part of Adegoke’s engagements with stakeholders across Oyo State following his emergence as the ADC governorship candidate.
